Jamaica Chapter Boasts Twelve Triple Certificants
The Jamaica Chapter has twelve members who have each earned all three ASIS certifications; the Certified Protection Professional (CPP®), the Professional Certified Investigator (PCI®), and the Physical Security Professional (PSP®).
The (CPP®) is considered the “gold standard” for security management professionals. This certification validates your knowledge in all areas of security management and is widely recognized as the highest designation accorded a security practitioner.
The (PCI®) certification provides demonstrable proof of an individual’s knowledge and experience in case management, evidence collection, and preparation of reports and testimony to substantiate findings.
The (PSP®) demonstrates one’s knowledge in physical security assessments, application, design, and integration of physical security systems, and implementation of security measures.
The members of this most exclusive club and eligible to wear the Triple Certificant insignia (shown above) are Capt. (Ret’d) John Richards, Capt. (Ret’d) Basil Bewry, Wayne Ballen, Michael Jackson, Warren Smith, Capt. (Ret’d) Garth Gray, Andrew Broderick, Carlos Pipher, Richard Johnson, Courteney Wallace, Nichelle Duncan and Selbourne Webb.
In order to place the enormity of their accomplishment into perspective, of the 34,000 ASIS members worldwide, less than 250 or 0.7% are Triple Certificates. With several members having two of the three ASIS certifications the Jamaica Chapter is well placed to continue to punch above its weight.
