Meet the team
Jason is a former law enforcement officer with 17 rewarding years’ experience in law enforcement. "Do what you can with all you have, wherever you are” is a famous quote by Theodore Roosevelt. It was the mantra that Jason adopted when he served in the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) and the Bermuda Police Service (BPS) in areas of criminal investigation, serious and organised crime investigation, and intelligence. Being a professional, committed, and dedicated officer, he was the recipient of several commendations and awards throughout his service.
Jason has earned himself an M.Sc. in Security Administration and Management from the Caribbean Maritime University in Jamaica, and a BA. in Applied Investigation from the University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom. With his experience and background in investigating organised crime and knowing the significant threat that it poses to enterprises, Jason has found a new home in corporate security.
Safe communities build safe societies and Jason gives back to his community by promoting this concept. He volunteers his time by giving neighborhood watch talks on crime prevention and motivational speeches to young adults. He enjoys photography, reading and nature walks.
Suzanne is currently a practicing Attorney-at-Law in Jamaica. She was the former Safety & Security Manager for HEART/NSTA Trust where she worked for 15 years (2009-2025) and had the overarching responsibility for security management for over 80 locations island wide.
Her work-life began back in 1987 in the Lands Department, a division of the Ministry of Agriculture where she was a Land Title Clerk. After spending three years with that government ministry, she moved onto Cable & Wireless Jamaica in April 1991 where she spent 12 years conducting technical investigations and performing risk management assessments.
In 2004, Suzanne made the transition to the Shipping Industry where she gained expert knowledge in Port Security, traveling to various countries and becoming very active on several committees within the industry. During that time, she became an IMO certified trainer and a lecturer on the Port Facility Security Officer certification course before joining HEART/NSTA Trust.
Suzanne is the holder of a Bachelor of Law Degree, Master of Science Degree in Computer Based Management Information System and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration all from the University of the West Indies, Mona. She studied at the Norman Manley Law School where she was called to the Bar in 2021. She also proudly wears the Physical Security Professional (PSP) designation from ASIS International which she attained in 2014. She is a certified Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Professional and a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
Suzanne taught Management Information System at the University of Technology, Jamaica for seven years between the period 2006-2013. She was a former member of the Jamaica Defense Force (National Reserve), the Jamaica Combined Cadet Force and the Jamaica Red Cross.
Suzanne became a member of the ASIS Jamaica Chapter in 2010 where she held several positions over the years. Secretary (2010-2015), Newsletter Editor (2015-2017), Vice Chair (2016-2017), Women in Security Chair (2016-2018) and Legislative Chair (2019-2023).
Suzanne was the winner of the 2022 ASIS International Women in Security, Karen Maarquez Award.
Suzanne is the proud mother of one child, Matthew.
Ian Clive Roberts, PSP served with the Jamaica Defense Force for over sixteen years, after which he joined the private sector, where he has been serving in security management, for the past forty years. In 2005 he became the founder and Managing Director of Developing Assets Protection Strategies (DAPS), a consultation, training and investigation firm which operates locally and overseas
He is the recipient of the Medal of Honor, General Service, for his work with the United States Military Forces during the Caribbean Peace-keeping Operations carried out in Grenada in 1984, as well as the recipient of a similar award for his sterling contribution made during the operation “Uphold Democracy” carried out in Haiti in 1994 with the CARICOM and US Multinational Forces.
He has been a member of ASIS International since November 2005 and has served in the positions of Chapter Secretary and Treasurer in the local Chapter.
Ian and his wife, Edna, are ordained Pastors of Fellowship Tabernacle and serve the South Community of the Church. They have two children and two grandchildren. Ian enjoys spending time with his family in the countryside, pistol shooting, playing the trumpet and fellowshipping.
Keron has been a security professional for over 20 years, and he has held numerous leadership positions within the Private Security Industry. He has been a Security Manager with Jamaica Broilers Group Limited (JBG) for the past 7 years, where he has responsibility for several sites to provide security leadership and guidance for JBG assets. Prior to joining the Jamaica Broilers Group, he was a Technical Manager with the Priority Group of Companies, where he had responsibility for island wide investigation, surveillance, case preparation and risk management.
An experienced investigator, Keron has been a member of ASIS, and by extension a member of the Jamaica Chapter since 2013. He is certified as a Professional Certified investigator (PCI) and a Physical Security Professional (PSP) and is currently preparing to bring his certifications in physical security full circle, by sitting the coveted Certified Protection Professional (CPP) exam in the near future. As a member of the Jamaica Chapter, he has served on the Business Management Committee in the past as, Placement Chairperson, Young Professional Liaison and currently as the Chapter Secretary for the 2024-2025 period.
Arrayed with a wealth of training and experience, and an eager to learn spirit, Keron freely offers himself professionally and personally for the benefit of improving organisational security.
An avid reader, he holds a Master of Science in Fraud and Risk Management from the University of Salford and a Bachelor of Science in Security Administration Management from the Caribbean Maritime University.
Andrew is employed by J Wray and Nephew, a Gruppo Campari company as a Senior Environment Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist assigned to the New Yarmouth Estate Distillery. Here he serves as the resource person for EHS, advising management and staff to ensure compliance with the various EHS regulations and procedures. He previously worked in the Loss Prevention Department at J Wray and Nephew where he was part of the team responsible for brand, personnel, and physical security and emergency response. He has also worked as an operations and intelligence supervisor with the Jamaica Customs Contraband Enforcement Team where he led teams charged with interdicting narcotics, arms/ammunition, and other contraband at the island’s ports of entry.
Major Lamb has served as an officer in the Jamaica Defence Force, and held various appointments in the Third, Sixth, and Support Battalions of The Jamaica Regiment (National Reserve) and as a staff officer at Jamaica National Reserve Brigade Headquarters. He has participated in military training exercises in Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom.
Andrew is a graduate of the Buckinghamshire New University in the United Kingdom and holds a Master of Science Degree in Business Continuity, Security and Emergency Management. He is a certified Emergency Medical Technician; holds certifications as both a Business Resilience Manager and Auditor; and is a (ProBoard) certified Industrial Firefighter and Fire Brigade Leader. He has completed the John E Reid Basic and Advanced Courses, several Port and Physical Security, Investigation, Project Management, Environmental, and health and safety courses. Maj LAMB has also completed military professional development courses at the Canadian Army Command and Staff College, and the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom; he is currently a student at the Canadian Joint Command and Staff Course.
John attended Munro College before studying at the University of the West Indies (UWI) where he got his degree in Natural Sciences in 1980. He returned to Munro to teach biology and agricultural science for one year and joined the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) from 1981-1990, attaining the rank of Captain.
During this time he returned to UWI to do a two year post graduate diploma which he completed in 1988.
On retiring from the JDF he worked with GraceKennedy Ltd at the Kingston Container Terminal at Port Bustamante for ten years, firstly as Security and Safety Manager for five years and then as Quality and Training Manager. During this time he attended Barry University where he received his MBA, Delta Mu Delta, in 1995.
He joined the Jamaica Broilers Group where he served as the Group Security Safety, Environment and Standards Executive from 2000 to 2025
He has served as Vice Chairman and Chairman for the ASIS Jamaica chapter on a number of occasions.
John is Jamaica's first triple certificant, having attained all three ASIS certifications - the Certified Protection Professional (CPP), the Physical Security Professional (PSP) and the Professional Certified Investigator (PCI).
He has attended a number of professional development courses and has made security and safety presentations both locally and overseas. He is a Certified Trainer with the Private Security and Regulatory Authority.
His hobbies include cycling, hiking and photography.
John is married with four children.
Mr. Courtney Wallace CPP, PCI, PSP currently holds the position of Key Account/Standards Manager at Eclectic Security Services Limited with responsibility for the Appleton New Yarmouth Estate and Roger Clarke High School locations. He is a former Warrant Officer Class 2 (WO2) in the Jamaica Defense Force National Reserve (3JR NR) and was appointed Company Sergeant Major. Throughout his thirty-six years of service to the Military, he has been decorated 7 times, earning the Medal of Honor (MOH) for Efficient Service in 1995 and the 1st 2nd 3rd 4th & 5th Bars to the MOH for Efficient Service in 2001,2007 & 2012, 2015, 2019 and the Queen Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012.
Prior to joining Eclectic Security Services on May 1, 2015, he served as Loss Prevention Coordinator for J Wray and Nephew a large agro-industrial conglomerate. His postings include Appleton Estate (2013 -2015), Aviation Security Coordinator for AJAS Limited MBJ / NMIA (2010 - 2013), Security Coordinator for Seawind Key Investment Limited/Secrets Hotel (2007 - 2010) and Ground Security Coordinator assigned to Air Jamaica at the Norman Manley International Airport, NMIA (2003 -2006).
Courtney holds the Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP) and Physical Security Professional (PSP) Certifications from ASIS International and a Certificate in Public Speaking and Speech Writing from the University of the West Indies (UWI) School of Continuing Studies.
Other academic and professional achievements include certificates on the Control of Legal Trade and Prevention of Illicit Trafficking in Firearms from the National Training Course; Ammunition and Explosives courses; Environmental Stewardship Management; Aviation Ground Security from International Aviation Transport Association (IATA); Port Facility Security Management (PFSO); Detection of Fraudulent Document and Impostors Identification; Supervisory Management from UWI; Investigative Interviewing and Positive Persuasion and Applicant Interviewing and Hiring Technique.
In 2019, Courtney was awarded the ASIS Jamaica Chapter Chairman’s Award for his dedicated service to the Chapter which saw unprecedented membership growth under his stewardship as Membership Committee Chairman.
Carlos is a security management professional with Ports Management and Security Ltd a subsidiary of the Port Authority of Jamaica (PAJ). Prior to the PAJ he was a member of the Jamaica Defence Force.
He served as Secretary, Vice Chairman and Chairman for the Jamaica Chapter. He has instructed on local and regional certification courses and is also an item writer for ASIS International. Carlos has represented the Caribbean and LATAM in workshops at ASIS International HQ.
He earned a bachelor’s in security administration and general management from the Caribbean Maritime University. He attended numerous professional development courses at the Caribbean Regional Drug Law Enforcement Training Centre (REDTRAC). He is also a certified Port Facility Security Officer with the International Maritime Organisation.
He believes that perseverance, committment and discipline are the keys to success. Carlos is a contributor on diverse topics to the columns of the Jamaica Gleaner and Jamaica Observer.
Tania is a dedicated advocate for constant staff training. A manager at Guardsman Alarms, she joined the firm in 2004 as an entry-level Central Station Operator and has worked her way through the ranks over the years. She continues to confirm her commitment to the security industry through staff and personal professional development training. She was also instrumental in developing a training program for new entrants joining the Central Station team and participated in training exercises for the operations team.
With almost 18 years of experience in the industrial security field, she attained two international certifications from ASIS International: Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Physical Security Professional (PSP). Tania Rhoden is the first female in Jamaica to attain the CPP designation.
She is a holder of an Associate Degree in Computing and Management, certificates in Customer Service, Radio Use, Supervisory Management and Security Trainer.
Prior to joining the security industry, she worked in the medical field serving in the capacity of a practical nurse for nine years after which she transitioned to the corporate world in 2002.
Aside from being a security professional, Tania Rhoden is also a soap artisan and the owner of a skincare business. During her downtime, she can be found searching the internet for new information related to both her professional and personal aspirations. She lives by her personal motto “I am here to be awesome, not average”.

Aldean is a Chartered Business Administrator who is employed by Forensic Polygraph Services since March 1, 2022, as Managing Director.
She is a Polygraph Examiner and Court Appointed Mediator assigned to the Parish Court.
She holds a Diploma in Business Administration and has been awarded other professional qualifications from the University of the West Indies Open Campus, John E. Reid & Associates, National Management Institute (MIND), National Police College of Jamaica, and other bodies.
She has steered a career in the field of investigations having served in numerous roles as well as at the management level from 2007-2022 at the Firearm Licensing Authority.
Aldean sits on the Board of the Kiwanis Club of Central Portmore and serves as Director of the Membership Growth and Retention Committee.
She has represented the club at two international conventions as a delegate in the United States of America in Indianapolis and Ottawa, Canada in the years 2015 and 2017 respectively, where those decisions impacted children’s lives worldwide positively.
Aldean is a sub-committee member of the premier group, Women In Security (WIS), who are dedicated to advancing the leadership and professional development of women in the field.
She serves as Sunday School Teacher and Praise and Worship Leader at the Portmore Gospel Chapel Church, which is a Christian movement assembly geared towards training youths on biblical principles and conflict resolution.
She enjoys sight-seeing, playing dominoes, painting, vocalizing, traveling, cooking, and reading, just to name a few.
She also enjoys her equally important role as a fiancée and nurturing her newly found drive for keeping an active healthy lifestyle exercising and going on scheduled 5ks.

Mrs. Shanna Shirley CPP, PSP is currently serving as Assistant Vice President (AVP) Service Delivery for Guardsman Metaverse. Shanna has extensive and progressive electronic security knowledge and experience, spanning over 18 years with the Guardsman Group. Shanna previously held roles such as Technical Manager and Technical Quality Assurance Manager under Guardsman Communications. Shanna has the ASIS International designations of Physical Security Professional (PSP) and Certified Protection Professional (CPP). She is the sharp minded, project-oriented person who has spear-headed all the major electronic security projects, along with her technical team. Shanna has contributed to the review and implementation of the company’s process for efficiency and cost effectiveness. She constantly ensures that her team members are trained in the various products and services for the growth and relevance of the organization. Shanna is certified in Project Management, Human Resources Management, Electronics and Telecommunication and Supervisory Management. She is keen on Volunteerism and was the Chairperson of the Staff Welfare Committee at the St. Andrew High School for girls for two years and is currently serving as the Chairperson for Women in Security ASIS, Jamaica Chapter since 2022, and Board member for Liberty Learning Centre since 2012. No stranger to continuous changes and challenges, Shanna is always ready to pivot to deliver the desired outcomes, especially for her clients.
Angilee Baboram is a multidisciplinary border protection professional with experience spanning non-intrusive inspection and risk management.
She currently serves as the NextGen Liasion for the ASIS Jamaica Chapter, where she actively supports professional development, intergenerational engagement, and the advancement of global security standards.
She serves as a Technical Committee member at the Bureau of Standards Jamaica, contributing to the development and review of national and sector-specific standards, and maintains active service to her alma mater through the Caribbean Maritime University Alumni network.
Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and a Diploma in International Shipping and Logistics from the Caribbean Maritime University, complemented by formal training at the National Police College of Jamaica, where she attained the status of a Special District Constable. She also completed an Associate of Arts in Chaplaincy at the EMET Global Theological Seminary and College after which she joined the Global Chaplains Alliance where she holds the rank of Sergeant. Additionally, she pursued specialized studies in Crime and Security Management at the Northern Caribbean University.
Her professional portfolio is strengthened by certifications and advanced training in monitoring and evaluation, root-cause analysis, project management, ISO 9001:2015 internal auditing, X-ray interdiction, nuclear security, whistle-blower protection, mobile app development, and customer service to name a few. She is currently pursuing further specialization in private investigation, and computer hacking forensic investigation, with plans to attain the ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP) designation.
Beyond her professional commitments, she has an interest in philanthropy, cross-cultural learning, and language acquisition. She is also an emerging author with interests in art and thought leadership, committed to building institutional value, and contributing meaningfully to the global security profession.
Michelle Karen Campbell is a highly accomplished law enforcement professional with nearly
three decades of experience in the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF). Born and raised in
Porus District in the parish of Manchester, Jamaica, Michelle attended Clarendon College
High School in her early years.
Michelle's career in law enforcement began in 1996 when she joined the JCF after working as
a store clerk at Persad's Hardware in Manchester. Over the years, she has gained extensive
experience and expertise in various divisions within the JCF.
Currently serving as a Deputy Superintendent of Police in the Kingston Central Division,
Michelle's role as the Administration Officer showcases her exceptional leadership and
organizational skills in managing critical administrative matters. She is known for her
dedication and commitment to her duties, always striving to ensure effective and efficient
operations within the division.
Michelle's pursuit of knowledge and continuous learning is evident through her extensive
educational background. She holds a Masters in Business Administration from Florida
International University, a Bachelors Degree in Management Studies with a focus on Human
Resource Management, an Associate Degree in Business Administration from the Northern
Caribbean University, and a Diploma in Customer Service Supervision and Supervisory
Management from the HEART Trust NSTA.
In addition to her educational achievements, Michelle has also obtained numerous
professional certifications in areas such as Criminal Investigation, Train the Trainer,
Leadership Development, and Computer-related Crime Courses. These certifications further
enhance her skills and knowledge in her field, allowing her to excel in her law enforcement
career.
Outside of her law enforcement duties, Michelle actively engages in community initiatives
and is involved in various professional associations. Her commitment to service goes beyond
her role in the JCF, as she strives to make a positive impact on the community she serves.
With her unwavering dedication, exemplary leadership skills, and diverse experience,
Michelle Karen Campbell is an invaluable asset to any organization or initiative she
undertakes. Her passion for her work, coupled with her extensive knowledge and skills,
positions her as highly respected and accomplished law enforcement professional.
Basil is a graduate of Wolmer’s Boys’ School and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, United Kingdom. He served in the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) as a Queen’s Commissioned Officer in the Infantry, Military Police, and Military Intelligence Unit. During his eleven years of service, he was awarded the Medal of Honour for General Service in recognition of his work with U.S. Army Intelligence during the Caribbean peacekeeping operations in Grenada.
From 1988 to 1991, Capt. Bewry served as Regional Manager of Atlas Protection Limited, and from 1991 to 2014 as Managing Director of Atlas Protection (Ocho Rios) Limited. In 1999, he earned a Diploma in Forensic Psychophysiology from the internationally recognised Backster School of Lie Detection in San Diego, California. He further enhanced his investigative expertise by completing the Advanced Interviewing and Interrogation Techniques Course with John E. Reid & Associates in 2001. In 2002, he was invited to join the World Association of Detectives, Inc., and in the same year founded Forensic Polygraph Services, through which he has administered more than 10,000 polygraph examinations.
He joined ASIS International in 2005 and holds all three of its board certifications: Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI), and Physical Security Professional (PSP). In 2020, he received the E. J. Criscuoli Jr., CPP Volunteer Leadership of the Year Award. He also serves as a Director on the ASIS Latin America & Caribbean Regional Board.
Basil is a long-standing member of the American Polygraph Association, a founding member of the Jamaica Polygraph Association, and a court-appointed mediator. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Wolmer’s Preparatory School and as a member of the Board of Management of the Wolmer’s Trust Schools.
He is married and has four children and three grandchildren. His interests include long-distance walking, reading, dominoes, sudoku, and meeting interesting people. His favourite quote is, “All that is required for the powers of evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing.”
Oswald is currently the Head of the Rural Electrification Programme with the Jamaica Public Service and is also a Registered Certified Security Instructor with over 29 years in the utility and security industries. He currently serves the Jamaica Combined Cadet Force as Regiment Commander for the Eastern Regiment with responsibilities of providing Strategic Leadership to the First, Second & Eighth Battalions.
He is a Professional Engineer and a member of the Jamaica Institution of Engineers as well as the Association of Energy Engineers, Jamaica Chapter He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Governors for the Marlie Mount Primary and Infant School, President of the JPSCo Managers’ Association and Executive Director for Global Chaplains Alliance.
Oswald received his education from the University of Technology (Jamaica), Florida International University (USA) and EMET Global Theological Seminary (USA). He holds the following qualifications, a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, an MBA in International Business, majoring in Logistics and Finance, a Masters and a Doctoral Degree in Leadership & Ministry. His current academic interest is in the field of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and is also an adjunct lecturer and assessor in that field at the Heart Trust NSTA.
He holds the following Certifications; Level IV (Assessor) Certificate from the HEART TRUST NSTA, Certification in Training Session Planning & Delivery from the Vocational Development Institute and a Professional Trainer’s Certificate of Competency (Train the Trainer) from the Delaware State University. Oswald is certified in Project Management by the Project Management Global Institute (Jamaica).
Since becoming a member of ASIS International in 2020, Oswald has been an integral part the Jamaica Chapter serving as Foundation Liaison, Newsletter Editor and Membership Chairperson. He has also served at the international level in the following capacities; Train the Trainer for the APP & CPP courses, ASIS Mentor and a member of the ASIS Utilities Security Steering Committee. He is currently the Utilities Steering Committee Secretary and also a participant in the Professional Development Steering Committee.
